RZ67 back red exposed-frame tab?

Hi all,

I have an original RZ67 back that puts a little red tab in the frame counter window when the frame is exposed. I just bought a Pro-II back from KEH and it doesn't do that - is the back damaged or is this a feature that was removed between the two generations when they added the extra exposure counter?

I have 2 Pro-II backs for my RZ67 Pro II and I see no red frame counter window. I have read that they removed that "feature" even in the newer RZ (pro not pro II) backs, am I right?

shot some pictures yesterday, no red tab on my pro II backs that I can see.
