Well, when it rains, it pours! After making a few scans on some RZ negs, I discovered a faint KODAK pattern on my film, which had obviously been exposed through the black paper backing. Give your eyes a second to adjust and you'll see it. This was TMY400.
How is it possible that this was exposed so evenly over the width of the film? I would assume that with that much light coming in there would be edge fog but there is none.
