Back to playing with the RB recently and am wondering is a rule for changing the shutter speed on the lens - ie: change only when uncocked etc.?

I don't think so.

Just keep telling yourself... "This is not a Zorki".

I have changed speeds in all different states with no ill effect on all my rb lens.

The rule is, only change speeds when you need a different one than the current setting.

Yeah, I think a bad Seagull experience many years ago is what got me to thinking there might need to be rule.

But do not try to change lenses on a Hasselblad if the body [and the lens] are not cocked.

You guys are getting a little cocky here!

How about the same question about a Yashicamat?

The answer would go something like:

"You guys are getting a little cocky here!
Will you shutt'er up!
Guys, I think we need to maintain a little 'focus' here...
Oh snap!
Look at what is developing here..."

You missed the line about "going off half cocked".
