Rubber ring loose on 150mm CF

The rubber focusing ring on my Hasselblad 150mm CF lens keeps sliding away from its place. Is this common? Is there anything I can do about it other than glueing the thing on? I tried two sided scotch tape but it doesn't stick to the metal under the ring.

It's not a big problem but I wouldn't mind finding a solution.

Usually contact cement or something with a little more grab than scotch tape like double sided carpet tape will do the trick.
