I read that Photographer Hugo Burnand is to shoot the Royal Wedding of Kate and Prince William.

Any ideas whether he uses film or if he intends to do so for this? I expect not, given the demand for such rapid printing (magazines etc) these days, but I was curious to know and a Google search of this site and generally didn't appear to bring anything up about it.

I hope he does film, most likely he'll do digital!

I don't know, but since it is a definite 'archive' event he might shoot film. I sure would even if I had the best digital stuff on the planet.

I would assume he's gonna use both, at the least for archival purposes, and odds are he's gonna have a 2nd and probably a 3rd shooter to boot!

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if he shoots MF.

Someone should shoot him a friendly email on behalf of all members of APUG; I'm sure he would me more than happy to share whether he shoots film or digital.
