Round-Up

Any of you guys that have an interest in putting a small tour together, pull it together here so I can advertise it and book it. Dan's plan sounds great so far and I'm willing to run with that one. I might actually do one myself. If anyone else does, get me your idea and potential itinerary.

As for everything else, I want to pull it together now so we don't lose interest. I'm leaving for Toronto in the morning and hope to have the site far enough along to be able to start collecting fees. I think the initial brainstorm was great and now I want to work on the details and get this thing out there.

I won't need hard data on side tours, but I will allude to them. Additions like that to the schedule are a bonus at this point and announcing them in a staggered pattern will alow us to keep bumping the threads.

Hey Bill...As I mentioned to you on the phone the other day, I think an "on the water" shooting excursion that could hit O'Neal, Wycamp and French Farm (even
Sturgeon Bay, if calm) would be great. Hand held cameras would be the order of the day... I've been on O'neal in the evening several times an there is an amazing amount of subject matter back in the stump fields,etc. I have two solo canoes - add your tandem and John's dingy & possibly encourage any interested to come prepared. I'm centerally located so my place could be a good place to meet,etc.

Excellent Don.... I almost forgot that you brought that up. That will be a definite, but limited in space.

Bill: I will have some time tomorrow afternoon as I am on gallery duty, so I will sketch out a "Pictured Rocks" tour and post it up here.

Well, guys. Looks like I won't get the launch out before Toronto. I'm taking the family with me to meet Bob tomorrow and do last minute show prep. I figure I better get some sleep so I don't kill us all on the way. I'll be back early Sunday and am setting the goal of launching by Monday morning.

Sorry for a couple days of darkness there. It has been a wild ride back and forth to TO and I have to go again on Thursday. Thursday and Friday I will be gone again and I will then be devoting full time to Pstock. I will be heading up north for a couple days next week to nail down locations and plans. Also... Come hell and high water I will have the registration and announcement later today/tonight.
