Thanks for re-posting that, it's probably the better thing we can do "in memoriam" of Alex.

BTW, people, how about continuing to publish the Camera 9 photos(there was a url link here which no longer exists)
We stopped it two years ago... Maybe it's a way of fighting the TCF (Travelling Camera Fatigue) ?

And I remember there was a camera 9 logbook also, we didn't see the whole beast at all..
@Shawn, do you still have it ?

I'm glad he's back too! The camera is likely going out today. It'll go out priority with tracking, so keep an eye out!
 
The camera is on it's way to Tennessee. Wish it good luck and safe travels!
 
Hopefully the camera arrived? It was due Monday, but the USPS tracking site is having "technical difficulties" right now.

EDIT: The USPS site via Chrome did work and showed it delivered.
 
I think people have found other things capturing their interest, such as watching grass grow.
 
Could be. Or maybe this traveling camera thing has run its course.
 
I sent Chris an email to see if he can confirm whether or not he received the camera.
 
Chris replied this morning. He is alive and the camera is being well taken care of! So, the story lives on! YAY!

Yes, Chris (cdholden) is the current owner. So it isn't lost in transit
 
I just realized I could have hung on to the camera for far longer than the measly week that I had it, and got to enjoy it that much more.

<sigh>
 
It takes most of us more than a week to just open the box!

Just ask cdholden to ship the camera back to you, then you can enjoy it a couple of month more...
 
You know, it's been two months since we've heard from the HOST of this round.
