I have this model and love it. I use it for print mounting on 4-ply mat board but suspect it'd work for up to 8-ply as well. For larger mat boards up to 22x28 for 16x20 prints, though, I have to resort to my larger GBC Ingento guillotine cutter. I note that Amazon's price is identical to B&H price (to the penny) FWIW; also Amazon shows the weight at about 3.5 ounces whereas B&H says 3.5 pounds - I've not weighed mine, but pounds certainly sounds more accurate. I really appreciate its hold-down concept so the material won't shift while you're cutting (can't say the same for the guillotine). It's a fine tool.

Thanks for asking and the positive comment. I am considering a Dahle 554 which seems to be an identical construction but larger.

Thanks for the opinions.....I Appreciate It.
Sometimes it is hard to figure the Amazon Reviews (with any product). A few people mentioned that it is hard to make a square cut.? You never know if these people are idiots, or if THEY are correct and the other people are much less demanding of the device.
Anyway, at this stage of my photography "career".....I am sure this cutter will be fine for anything that i do.

Mmh, making square cuts was a key motivation to buy this thing. Can get along with ruler + knife for anything else.
