Bonjour!
First of all, excuse me for my english, I'll try to make my problem as understandable as possible..
I try to create a profile for my Epson 3800 using the method of Ron Reeder found on the pdf "qtrmanualsv3."
I want to make digital negatives for palladium prints.
So i step the explanation for the creation of the profile, but when I use "install3800.cmd" to install it, it always returns me the same error:
"Creating curve UCmk-palla-101212
Qlimit did not return a valid curve at / Library / Printers / QTR / bin / quadprofile line 214 "
I copy here the contents of "UCmk-palla-101212.txt" :
# QuadToneRIP curve descriptor file
#
# K3 ultrachrome inks for
PRINTER = Quad3800
CALIBRATION = NO
GRAPH_CURVE = YES
N_OF_INKS = 8
DEFAULT_INK_LIMIT = 100
LIMIT_K = 18
BOOST_K = 25
LIMIT_C = 18
LIMIT_M = 18
LIMIT_Y = 18
LIMIT_LC = 30
LIMIT_LM = 30
LIMIT_LK = 35
LIMIT_LLK = 0
N_OF_GRAY_PARTS = 2
GRAY_INK_1 = K
GRAY_VAL_1 = 100
GRAY_INK_2 = LK
GRAY_VAL_2 = 33
GRAY_HIGHLIGHT = 0
GRAY_SHADOW = 0
GRAY_GAMMA = 1
GRAY_CURVE =
COPY_CURVE_C = K
COPY_CURVE_M = K
COPY_CURVE_Y = K
COPY_CURVE_LC = LK
COPY_CURVE_LM = LK
If any of you know what is wrong with my approach would be very helpful!!
Thank you in advance!
Guillaume
