About one year ago I bought my (first) Rolleiflex TLR - the 3.5F model I / 1959.
I got the camera for 750,- Euros from a German ebay seller.
The camera came in good conditions - lenses were scratch free, no fungus ore molding.
Film advanced exactly but somehow rough with -annoying- squeaking.
Setting aperture or shutter speeds was a little rough too. The shutter speeds were quite exact but below 1/8sec there was a bit stuck.
I installed a new focusing screen with a split image; focus was spot on but focusing itself feels rough and scratchy.
The distant scale (in meters) wasn't an original part and was a bit off.
The film speed / ASA setting was hardly to move.
The light meter itself was -in normal / daylight conditions- en par with my Gossen light meter.
Using the camera for about one year I never had trouble or issues and I was satisfied with my results.
But I decided to go for some maintenance service to keep the beauty alive for another sixty years ...
I talked to Mr. Hans Klinkhamer from "De Kamera" in 's-Heerenberg in the Netherlands.

Hans Klinkhamer has been successful at repairing Rolleiflex and other mechanical cameras for over 25 years.
We set a date and I delivered my Rolleiflex in person. He evaluated the camera and told me that there will be no problem to fix those issues and doing some CLA.
After exactly 4 weeks he called me to pick up my camera.
My Rolleiflex now works like it should - all adjustments are very smooth now, the wrong distance scale was replaced and the speeds below 1/8sec are right on.
I paid 140,- Euro for the servicing and I can recommend Mr. Klinkhamer to other Rolleiflex users in Europe
(though he told me about having customers from the US and Japan).
