Rolleiflex T in Exc+ condition -- the lenses are clean and clear, the shutter is accurate at all speeds, the viewfinder is very bright with a Maxwell Hilux screen installed, the body shows minor wear but has not dings or dents. Included are a lenscap, lenshood, Rolleinar 2 set, Rollei prism (some separation), and a custom made leather strap with Rollei scissors clips. Everything is in beautiful shape. $650 plus paypal and shipping charges.

Really nice kit. I have a T in near excellent condition that has lived its life in a leather case. Before the shutter froze from the oil and needing a CLA I could not tell the difference between it and the late 'flex Automat I had. I have the T on schedule for a CLA as I wind down from carrying my MF slr as the SLR is becoming too heavy due to medical issues. I've never tried a speedgrip or porrofinder, bet they'd be interesting aas they'd give a different perspective than the waist level finder. I suspect the T will be with me until only I can comfortably carry my Leica CL for weight reasons. The T is not that heavy so I suspect many more years as a companion after the CLA until possibly 120 is no longer available.

I agree entirely. The T is about half a pound lighter than an F, and that is a significant and very noticeable difference. There are two other things as well that make the T superior, IMHO. The first is the side-pointing shutter release, which I find to be much more natural and leads to steadier pictures. The second is that the T takes Bayonet I filters, and that is important because it means the Minolta Autopole polarizer fits it. The Autopole is by far the best polarizer anyone ever made for a twin lens camera. It makes using a polarizer effortless and natural since the viewing lens sees the same degree of polarization as the taking lens, all the time. The Zeiss Tessar on the T was recomputed for it and is every bit as good as the Planar as soon as you stop down just one stop. The T is a wonderful camera.

I agree with the shutter release seems to allow a steadier release and the Bay 1 was important for me as over the years I staerting building a Bay 1 collection with a Yashicamat G I owned and sold but kept the accessories. They are more common and less expensive than the larger Bay series. I have s decent filter collection going back to the early Kodak glas series filters and the series adaptor to Bay 1 as well as 2 of the Rolleiflex lens shades. I found the lens on the T to be at least equal to the Yashicamat G and the 3 Rolleiflexes I owned. The weight advantage was one of the reasons the T stayed and the Automat went. At the time, weight was not really an issue but, my Bronica stripped to the basic camera subjectively was not a lot heavier to carry all day compared to the Automat but was noticable with the T, in the T's favor.

I'll look for the AUTOPOLE as I tend to use a polarizer more than any other filter and the one I have for the Rollei is the typical look through the viewfinder and then transfer it to the taking lens, hoping I do not move the front element. Not too much of a problem but the Autopole could give me a better chance.

Buying a second Rolleipol would be a lot cheaper. Once you set the polarization level on the viewing lens, you'd have to transfer that reading to the one on the taking lens, but at least you wouldn't have to move the filter between lenses.

I don't think I've ever seen an Autopole sell for less than $100, which is almost as much as I paid for my Autocord. I've seen them sell for as much as $150.
