Quite nice condition Rolleiflex T, serial # 2126659. Rollei Club dates it to 1958-1961 production. I bought it this way, but I have a box of other fabulous Rolleis and I just don’t need another one!
Everything seems to work except the shutter. I ran a dummy roll of 120 backing paper through it and it wound fine and stopped at each exposure, the shutter clicks but does not open.
The viewfinder is excellent, bright and clear- and it has the removable WL finder so you can easily use a prism or change the focusing screen. There is a bit of fungus in the viewing lens, but it does not seem to impact the bright and clear screen (the screen looks like it may have been upgraded? It has a micro prism center like a Rick Oleson screen). It would not affect picture taking in any way.
I can’t open the shutter to see through the taking lens, but looking at it from both sides of the shutter it looks flawless.
The leather covering is starting to peel a bit on some corners- a bit of Pliobond should take care of that.
Mirrored lens cap included.
Send it off to Jim Kilroy at Barn Owl Cameras or your other favorite Rolleiflex repair guy for a CLA and you’ve got a very nice camera.
