__________

This specimen came out of Eastern Europe, and aside from two small scuffs on the leather case, and a few scuffs/nicks on the top and nameplate, it's about as good as you're going to find!

I have not shot film with it (it's possible no one has), however all shutter speeds sound good. Glass is clean and clear. No wear on shutter leaves.

The aperture and shutter speed are controlled by the tab on the left side of the shutter housing. They are normally coupled, but you can decouple them by pulling out on the tab. This will allow you to adjust the aperture independently of the shutter. You might have to uncouple, move the tab, recouple, and move the tab again to run through the full range of shutter speeds, but it's unlikely you'll ever find the need to do so.

The tab on the right side of the shutter housing controls the flash setting (flashbulb or electronic).

The front of the leather case can be removed, leaving the rest of the case in place.

I assume Rolleiflex used a box labeled "3.5f" because the T1 was made during the same period as the 3.5F Model 1 (K4E). Didn't make much sense to go with a different box label if most people ended up discarding it!

The leather case, neck strap, and the leatherette on the body are supple and mold/fungus-free. Whomever owned this appears to have kept it in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. Might have sat in the storeroom of a camera shop for decades before being found! If only the box could talk!

Asking $650, free shipping in the US.

Added pix of the box and original packaging. You could probably get good $ just for the box!
