Hi all,

Meanwhile I’m looking for a Hassy with Distagon 50mm I was offered to take a look of the same lens but with SL66X.
Sadly the lens has extreme haze/dirt between elements (which I can’t reach).

Playing with the camera I like it very much, all sound in place and the Planar 80mm HFT is perfect. I will do some test shots during these days.
The owner offered the camera with film back, wlf and this Planar for USD1200.
Camera is as well very preserved.
Is it a normal/expensive/cheap?

I never thought I would open a thread like this but here I’m.

It's a good price for the SL66 X with lens in good condition - as far as I know, only 500 of this model have been built, making it the most rare of SL66 camera series.

Forgot to say : The X model only has internal flash metering and no regular TTL metering like other models of the SL66 range. I guess they made it especially for studio work.

It’s a wonderful camera but a pita for overhauling and spare parts. I had two 66 both of them with issues

After two walks... about 30 min each with a Opt/tech strap... yes it's heavy and the shoulder complains... Two photos taken, pretty fast thanks to the bright screen and the focusing knob.
