I have a Rolleiflex 3.5F and although it works beautifully, would like to have it looked over by an expert. I realize that Harry Fleenor is the top choice, but his shop time is currently 10 weeks. Can anyone recommend another service in the U.S.? Thank you.

I can also recommend Krikor. He worked on my 2.8e and did a wonderful job. Turn around was about 1 week.

The trick is to send it to Harry, and meantime, buy another camera to fiddle around with. I've had 3 Rollei TLRs in to him. Great work.

Larry in Canada.

When I was living in NJ I drove my 3.5F over to Krikor. The turn around was one day. This was for a complete service. When I picked the camera up, UPS had just delivered a box with at least ten TLR's in plastic bags tagged for repair. I really tried to see what repair service was using him and scaming their customers. I could not read the label.
The guy is good, the turn around fast. 10 weeks is unacceptable.

You can also check with Paul Ebel in Minn. Just Google him and you can find his contact info and many positive references.

I have used Krikor and I have used Paul Ebel
and I send all of my Rolleiflexes now to Paul.

You can find Paul at paulebel44@yahoo.com

I've used and recommend Krikor too. He was a bit expensive I thought, but turnaround was fast and he's a character (in the best way).

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I sent the camera to Krikor Maralian. Shop time was 2 days and the TLR looks and functions beautifully. Service was $200, but you get what you pay for.

Krikor is honest, too. He has told me when a camera wasn't really worth the investment (repair). He's worked on four cameras for me.
