Absolutely spectacular. Do you have some sort of magic closet from where these amazing cameras and lenses emerge? Are these barn finds, like the proverbial Bugatti someone finds long-forgotten in a barn in the countryside?

I bought this camera from the original owner about 10 years ago - he was a photographer for Time I think. He bought it in Germany. I shot some fantastic photos with this camera - some are in my book Never Seeing Nothing. I upgraded to Maxwell screen and had it CLA'd. Sorry to see it go, but my work is going in a different direction. Finding a camera like this was luck. I know that when I let these go, I will most likely not get another. That's ok. I would like to explore owning less.

A bit out of my budget, but whats going on with the 7th photo? The finder opens up to with a bonus ground glass?

Rolleiwide viewfinders have a lens facing forward for use as a sportsfinder. The same as some other models just have a square cutout. That's why wide viewfinders are so expensive.

What a beautiful camera - wish I could afford this one right now!

Did you know you need just one kidney and one Rolleiflex to live a balanced life?

Well, I do have a beautiful 3.5F that I am very happy with, and would love the Rolleiwide to complement it, but it's just a little too far out my budget (even with only one kidney )
