Just got a 'new' ... that is my fathers old Rolleiflex ser. nr. 1283283 .. form 1952-1954 (not sure)....
But when I load film in that camera, I can advance the the film, but the counter do not count...
When I open the camera and press the take up spool, it do count. But when I close the camera, the counter do not work.....
What do I do wrong......I already spoiled 1 film ... but I can experiment with that....

erik... now in Canada at the moment

Glad to hear it. Please consider a CLA for such an oldie. A well-tuned Rollei is an absolute marvel.

PS: On some older Rolleis the feeler bar action can be a bit sluggish. Generally I always advance the film smoothly and at only a moderate pace until the feeler bar kicks in. Good luck and enjoy!

I did.... thanks .... working fine now......

If you want to drop me a private message with your email, I have a PDF of the manual for the Rolleiflex Automat.

Yours is one of my favourites. MX synch for flash but without the EV numbers.
