Rolleiflex parallax correction lever stud "gunk"

Hello,
any Rolleiflex/Rolleicord experts know what the black gunk is which is used to fix the parallax correction lever stud in place onto the lens plate? I am going to need to remove it for shutter repair and would like to replace with similar if it is still available.
