I have for sale a very nice Rolleiflex MX-EVS, serial number 14956XX, making it a Type 1. This one has an F3.5 Zeiss Tessar taking lens. The focusing screen is a bright Rick Oleson screen with rangefinder spot in the middle. The original ground screen is also included in case you want to go back to that one.

The camera is in excellent user condition, with only a few spots of minor finish wear, primarily around the film advance crank. There are no dents or dings, and both the taking and viewing lenses are in perfect shape, with no fungus, haze, cleaning marks or the like. All functions are smooth and work perfectly, including all shutter speeds, the self timer, the focus mechanism and the film transport mechanism. Recent film shot with the camera showed shutter speeds as they should be, perfect focus and good film spacing.

The prior owner had the camera overhauled a few years ago by well known Rollei tech Karl Ehlers.

Included in the sale are a generic Bay 1 plastic lens cap and an OP/TECH strap. $325 firm plus trackable and insured shipping, paid by PayPal (I will cover the fees).

I hate to let this one go, but I have three Rolleis at the moment and need to thin the herd. If this one doesn't sell within a few days, I will pull it off the market and repost when I return from a few weeks of travel.

Thanks for looking.

Hmm...all good cameras come and go only after I had my Rolleicord. :-(

Condition of the camera seems to be immaculate.

This deserves a good home. Some of my favorite images were captured with this model. I used an L-398 Sekonic meter with the EV scale and it made for a nice combination with absolute certain results. From 5.6 and beyond, I believe these stand up to almost anything. I'm recovering from a serious case of GAS or I'd pounce on this excellent price/value!

Jeff,

If still available, I'm interested in this camera. What will the shipping charges be to 48422 zip?

I have a Yashika 124 and a 124G which are working very well, but I've been told that everyone needs to try out a Rolleiflex.

This looks like a very nice camera, and a good price.

EDIT:
DANG! That last post didn't show on my computer until I posted this. Missed a great deal! If the sale falls through, let me know.
