I am trying to remove fog from the rear side of the inner one of the two front elements of the Xenotar 75mm f3,5 of my Rolleiflex 3,5F "White face". The outer element, with the name of the lens, is easily unscrewed, but not the element thereafter, sitting next to the shutterblades. I have tried with a rubber ring fashioned to fit what I see as the element mounting, even with applying some oil to the threads, but without succes. My question to you experienced Rolleiflex people is: can this element not be unscrewed from the front? Must I remove the whole front of the camera to get access to the inner side of the element, or remove all the rear elements to reach the problem element through the opened shutter?
Thanks for your answer!
