I found a filter mount for Rolleiflex on ebay - the holder was made to push on the Rolleiflex hood.
I can't find anything wether the holder was made for bay I or bay II hoods. The seller does not know.
Is there a diffrerence in size (except for the bayonet) ??

Looking at hoods I have around, on the Bay I, the width is 43mm. On the Bay II, it is 45mm. Small enough difference. It will depend on the design of the mount that determines if it can accommodate both widths.

The manual page you show is for a K4b?? Automat MX model. This is before Rollei had any Bay II cameras in their line. I don't know if they ever developed this item specifically for Bay II cameras.

Dan, thank you for your quick response !
My Rolleiflex 3.5F Bay II hood is 45mm too. The page is from a 1951 ''Rolleiflex - the practical accessoris'' - booklet https://www.cameramanuals.org/rolleiflex/rolleiflex_practical_04.pdf
It's the only puplication of the filter mount I could find so far.
Anyway, I'll order the filter mount - it's only a matter of time I'll get a Bay I Rolleicord or Rolleiflex ...

I have only seen the graduated filter holder in Bayonet I. I'm not sure if it was ever made for Bay. II or III. I can look in Prochnow's reference books later.

The manual page you show is for a K4b?? Automat MX model.

In Europe this model is called 3,5 A, but "MX" is a more descriptive name since it's the first model with M/X sync.

Thank you, this would be nice!
I think it's a nice tool - I have a bunch of small sized Formatt-HiTech filters (mainly ND and ND graduated), I intend to cut to size for the Rolleiflex fiter mount.

Thanks for the info. New to me. Another Rolleiflex accessory I don’t need, but an interesting collector item.

Just for completeness sake: the sunshade made for the 2.8A Rolleiflex has a different bayonet than the 'normal' I, II or III sizes - and is quite rare.
However the 2.8A has the 'normal' II filtersize.

Thanks for your info - those Rolleiflex accessoires are A Neverending Story ... :wondering:
