Selling my Rolleiflex Automat which is in excellent minus condition. Fully operational with no issues. Lenses are clean and clear with no problems. Shutter seems accurate, winder winds properly, smooth focusing, controls work easily. The focus screen has been replaced with a brighter 3rd party screen with split image focusing aid. Some signs of use but very nice looking, I've replaced the leatherette. Comes with both filters shown, the clear filter has some minor issues but clear enough for pictures and the yellow filter is clean and clear. Sharp Tessar lens will not disappoint. Shipping by usps priority in USA. Paypal F&F.
Price is $400.00 shipped.

Someone got a great deal

That would be me! And thank you, I believe I did too! I've wanted a Rolleiflex for years. I like shooting with my Yashicamat 124, but that just made me want a "real" Rollei.

Camera arrived today. Well, Saturday, as I am writing this at nearly 3 AM Sunday morning (I'm a night owl anyway, and work overnights all week.)

It's absolutely beautiful. Anyone who has shot such close ups as the photos in the original ad when selling an item knows how they seem to exaggerated any imperfections. This camera looks GREAT. I can't wait to get out and use it.

The Tessar from that era was something else. I had this same camera and the Tessar holds its own against a 3.5 Planar. By 5.6 there’s little difference. I started out with a Yashica 124G and the Rollei certainly has better glass, IMHO.

I'm sure it does. The biggest limitation of the Yashica though, in my use, wasn't sharpness but a tendency to flare when shot into any light. They're well known for not being the best baffled/blackened cameras inside. But it's still fun, I think it's a fine looking camera, my non-G model with the chrome arguably better looking than the Rollei, and the meter in mine even works ok. I use a Lunapro SBC with it, or could of course even use the app on my phone, but in a pinch, it works. But I'm sure the Rollei is much better or I wouldn't have bought it. Since I'm just getting back into photography literally ALL the film I have, though a substantial stash, is outdated having last bought any in about 2013, though cold stored. I don't want to start a new-to-me camera with such. The FedEx package with fresh film is out for delivery as I type.
