Please let me know if the Rolleiflex 4,0 FT Tele version, with the 135 mm lenses is available. I am sure someone will know the answer; the depth and breadth of APUGers' knowledge is stunning. Retailer recommendations sought also.

Thanks.

hi larry.

I am not sure whether you are looking for a new one or used, but MWclassic.com is a nice shop to keep looking at...

New Tele-Rolleiflex!

The first production range of the ROLLEIFLEX 4.0 FT is already sold out. The next range will be ready for sale in December 2007.

It would be wise to order already now to make sure to get one.

Cheers

I'm quite sure I saw one in photografica, the best photographic shop in denmark. They also have it listed on their website for 40000 kr. that's aproximately 7782 dollars.

Canadian Retailer for Tele Rolleiflex 4.0 FT ?

"If you have to ask, you can't afford it", applies to me. A friend, who could afford one, is not committed to go any farther [yet]. I was assuming we'd be best off ordering through B&H if it comes to buying one so I have not inquired in Canada, so far.

My dad used a Rolleiflex from 1962 to about 1992 [high school camera club], and I picked up my affection for them then. This year, I bought two Rolleicord Vb, and a 1954/6 Rolleiflex 3.5. The latter is off to Harry Fleenor for film transport repair, full overhaul and new focusing screen. One Vb is packed with it, for routine shutter overhaul and new screen. The other Rolleicord Vb was purchased from Harry, fully overhauled with new screen.

Being so happy with Rollei TLRs, I believe I could enjoy using the Tele version, too. I bet that's true for most of us. So far, I've been using FP4+, developing it myself, and having it printed at our local, excellent store: Camera Kingston. Almost all the goodies are in hand to set up my own darkroom.

Good luck to all.

Best window display anyway.

I'd heard of Photografica before I visited Denmark over x-mas and when I stumbled on it i was practically salivating at all the fine cameras and lenses on display. The prices seemed on par with Australian prices for 2nd hand equipment but the new equipment was priced off the scale.
