I have for sale a very nice Rolleiflex 3.5F with Zeiss Planar lens. This camera has serial number 3.5F 22507xx, making it a Type 3, likely from circa 1961. In addition, this version came with the later 6-element Planar lens. The camera is in very nice user condition, with just a few spots of minor finish loss. It is also missing the triangular Rollei emblem on the focusing hood.
Functionally the camera is excellent, with film results showing good film spacing, shutter speeds as they should be, and perfect focus. Both the self timer and the light meter work well, and the functions are all silky smooth. Both taking and viewing lenses are in excellent condition and free of cleaning marks, haze, fungus or other blemishes.
The prior owner had the camera overhauled by Harry Fleenor some years back, and Fleenor also installed the included Maxwell viewing screen. Today these screens run $240 installed. The screen includes a rangefinder center spot surrounded by a microprism ring and is very bright and easy to focus.
Included in this sale are the camera, the incident light diffuser, original leather case, an after-market leather strap with scissors clips (excellent condition), the satin finished hinged lens cap, and a Bay-2 Rollei collapsible lens shade (also in excellent condition).
I will sell this package for $875 shipped in the CONUSA. PayPal preferred, and I will cover the fees. I will ship abroad, but you will have to cover the cost of insured, trackable shipping.
For the buyer of this camera, I can also add any of the following items to the package, all in excellent condition: Rolleinar 1 close up lens (2-piece set, with case) $50, Rolleipol polarizing filter with case $45, and a Rollei metal lens hood with case $45.
