I have for sale a beautiful Rolleiflex 3.5F, Type 4, serial number 28275XX, from the late 1960s. This version features 120/220 film capability and features the superb 6-element version of the Zeiss Planar. While the camera has a few spots of finish loss and a touch of haze in the viewing lens, it is in generally very nice user condition. Further, functionally it is perfect, having a recent shutter overhaul from Harry Fleenor and a new meter module from Krimar. The taking lens is in excellent shape, with no haze, fungus, cleaning marks or the like. The installed viewing screen shown in the photo is the factory screen, which being from very late production, is bright and very easy to focus with.

I will let this one go for $775 shipped and PayPal'd in the U.S. Included at that price is the mirror style lens cap, which is does show marks from use.

For the buyer of the camera, I can also add an original Rollei strap in very good condition with the alligator clips ($25), a well used but perfectly functional Rollei Bay 2 hood with leather case ($25), and a near-new Maxwell screen that I used on this camera for awhile ($140, original cost is $240).

I am only selling this one because I have two other Rollei 3.5s, and I need to free up funds for other projects.
Thanks for looking.

Quick question, is the haze in the taking lens between elements and that's why it wasn't cleaned with the CLA?

It's in the viewing lens not taking lens.

I think Richard has it right, the haze is in the viewing lens, which is not normally disassembled in a CLA. I did ask Fleenor about cleaning out the haze, and he indicated that he didnt deal with that type of issue and referred me to a guy that specializes in cleaning and repairing optics.

In any case, the Rollei and all accessories except for the strap are now sold. Thanks for everyone's interest.

Thanks Jeff for letting me bring this beauty home. She's amazing.

Gorgous camera!!!!! I love the look of the Rolleis. Simply Stunning.
