For sale is a Rolleiflex 3.5F Planar camera in user condition. This was previously owned by a small wedding photography studio and has been well used but also received regular maintenance and is in good working condition.

The mechanics of the camera work well, focus is smooth and accurate, shutter speeds sound good and the aperture moves freely. The meter is active but probably not accurate at this age. The exterior of the camera has quite a bit of wear from use, the leatherette is worn and there are scuffs and scratches in the paint and edges. No major damage, just average signs of use for a working camera. The bottom plate with the tripod socket wiggles back and forth slightly. This could be repaired simply by a repair person but if you're shooting hand held it doesn't affect use.

The glass is in good shape, there may be some very faint polish marks on both the taking and view lenses but nothing which would affect your final image appreciably. No haze or fungus whatsoever.

The focusing screen has been replaced with a screen from a Mamiya RB67 which was cut down to size, this is a matte with a center diagonal split finder surrounded by a micro prism. This is considerably brighter than the stock focusing screen from Rollei and is much easier to use for accurate focusing. The prism does have some separation on the bottom glass, this extends about 6mm in a few places and appears as a slightly darker spot in your finder on the very edges. For me it's not terribly bothersome and wouldn't interfere with picture taking. The outside case of the prism has a decent sized ding on the top edge but this has not affected the glass.

User camera, won't win any beauty contests anytime soon but will take some fantastic photographs. -$400

Oh, man, if I didn't already have two. Probably my all time favorite camera, if I had to pick.
