Rolleiflex 3.5f filters adapters

I was looking at some adapters for a rolleiflex 3.5f filters (bay II), because the original ones are pretty scarce and pricey, but the informations are not great. The adapters are not that many, so i have some questions regarding measures and compatibility:

- if i mount a bayII->39 adapter, will i be able to mount the lens shade in the outer bayonet as well? what's the biggest filter size i can adapt to and still be able to use the shade?
- what if the adapter is for series V? or VI?

I have a unmarked aluminum BayII to 39mm adapter. Yes you can mount the lens shade of it.
