For sale is a beautiful Rolleiflex 3.5E with Zeiss Planar lens, in excellent condition. This model was made from 1956 to 1959, and the serial number suggest that this unit was relatively late in the Planar-equipped series.
This camera came to me in beautiful cosmetic condition, with minimal marks on the leather covering and glass that was pristine. The shutter ran an F-stop slow, so I sent it to Advance Camera in Portland for a CLA, and it came back late December 2025. The receipt for the service will be provided to the buyer. The shutter speeds have been properly adjusted, the self timer runs strong, and the focus and transport mechanisms are smooth as expected. The hood is solid and perfectly functioning, and the screen has been replaced with a Rick Oleson bright screen with microprism center spot. The non-coupled meter is responsive to light, but accuracy is unknown.
I currently have two Rolleis and am shooting very little film, hence the sale of the nicer of the two Rolleis in my possession.
I will sell this camera for $775 shipped in the CONUSA, net to me. This will include the camera itself and the mirrored lens cap. If you want the pictured leather strap with scissors clips and the aftermarket Bay II hood, add $75. These two items are basically unused. PayPal preferred, use F&F or cover fees for G&S.
