Anyone know how to remove the plastic collars from the shutter and flash rings? I would like to remove without breaking them if possible.

The shutter one has a retaining ring that can be removed with a spanner?

The flash appears to be riveted from the back. Meaning metal splayed out to retain the central bushing. There appears to be a layered assembly, top part and bottom part tied together, possibly another internal rivet or press fit. Some careful bending an a willingness to either reform or find a replacement for the small flange areas should work. The metal pieces inside the opening are to retain a Rollei-specific flash connector, I believe, so you could rebuild the part without the pieces and epoxy or solder a solid assembly?

Can the front plate be taken off without removing them? I just broke the shutter plastic collar.

Shutter can be removed form the front, simple.

Flash, no, you'll need to remove lens board. Loosen rivet or whatever to get silver collar you see in front to release upwards and then black plastic will release. Again, all of this is only for the Rollei flash connection retainers. Remove those, epoxy everything hard into place? No motion needed.

I guess you could grind away silver collar from front of flash. then rebuild something to replicate it? Parts inside are captured by the flash sync post so won't drop in and jam up other areas.
