For sale is a good user Rolleiflex 2.8C Made in 1954, serial number 145846

Camera is in good user condition, body shows quite a bit of use (previous owner bought it in 1969 and used it ever since). There's some touch up paint in a few places, a fair amount of scuffs and marks on the exterior. Shutter speeds all sound great including the 1 second but have not been electronically tested. Aperture clean and smooth.

The front lens element has a couple of tiny bits of fungus on either edge, these are extremely fine and limited to perhaps 1/8" into the lens and I can't imagine that they're going to affect your final image. I'd have it cleaned but there's really no point. There are a few very very fin polish marks on the taking lens front element but they're difficult to see and will not affect image. The viewing lens has a couple of spots of what looks like dried condensation, very small and light and won't affect your view. Waist level worn but in good working order, focusing screen clean and bright.

Comes with the original chrome lens cap and a worn original case.

Accepting offers over the weekend. Thanks!

Exactly what I'm looking for. Bad timing though. How much are these going for?

I can't find any info on recent sales of the Planar version, I guess they're quite a bit less common than the Xenotar 2.8's... anyone have an idea?

Still available, $600

Here's what you get...

A user body, sure it's got some wear on it but you're a shooter not a ninny collector right?

The legendary Planar lens.

The same lens which is on the 2.8F at 1/2 the price.

The opportunity to say "no, it's a rolleiflex" when hipster college lasses ask you if you're shooting a yashicamat.

An sense of belonging in the upper echelons of the photo making world.

I'll throw in a free beer shipped anywhere on the planet. name your flavor.

I'll even put the beer in a separate box in case your postal worker is having a rotten day.
