For sale is a Rolleiflex 2.8 Planar E2 in user condition. The exterior of the camera is very well used and there is plenty of scuffs, scratches and wear. The mechanics are in good shape, focus is smooth and accurate, shutter speeds sound good and the aperture moves freely. The flash sync selector has been glued into the X position, unless you're using flash bulbs you'll never need to move it.
The glass is in fair condition, there are some very fine polish marks on the taking and viewing lens but nothing which should have a significant affect on your final image. There are also some extremely tiny specks of dust under the front element.
The prism has about 3mm of separation on the base around the edge, not visible when shooting. The focusing screen is a matte with center rangefinder prism. The left side latch for the prism/wlf is slightly messed up and moves in when you take the prism off, it still works fine, you just have to pull it out before sliding the prism on.
Certainly not something which will win a beauty contest anytime this century but it's a great user with the marvelous 2.8 planar lens. -$600 (or best offer if that seems too high, it's hard to get a good idea of prices for user Rolleis)
