For sale is a beautiful Rolleicord Vb in excellent condition. This is the white face version that was the last version of the Vb from the mid-1970s. This camera got a complete overhaul from Dan Daniel, at which time the shutter, focus mechanism and lens alignment were all serviced. In addition,the viewing mirror was replaced. The viewing screen currently installed is a Rick Oleson bright screen, and the original screen will also be included. Also included on the camera is the hard-to-find shutter release extension, which improves the ergonomics of shooting significantly.
The camera itself is in superb cosmetic condition, with all leather intact and no noticeable dings or other marks. The taking and viewing lenses are also in excellent shape, free of any haze, cleaning marks or the like. The shutter and self timer all work perfectly at all speeds, with absolutely no hanging or hesitation. The focus and film transport mechanisms are all silky smooth. This camera came back from the overhaul like a brand new camera.
Also included with the camera and both viewing screens are an aftermarket lens cap, the leather case in very good condition, and a very nice leather strap with the proper connectors to fit the Vb.
This is as nice a Rollei as I have owned, and I have had a bunch. I hate to let it go, but I am simply not shooting film any more, and this camera should be put to use.
