Most camera stores and almost all pro labs will gladly give you a large bang full of them... free for the asking. At worse, waste an inexpensive roll of film... less than $4.

Thanks for the info, everyone. I had unsuccessfully tried an old spool before posting this, but then realized my error after reading these responses. Just processed my first roll of b&w film from the Rolleicord and am very pleased. Thanks again for the replies!
