Just came into possesion of one of these the focus screen is gone and the shutter is sticky at 1 sec. Does anyone know where I can get a user/repair manual, preferably free download(the rolleiclub site is still under construction for maunals) and a source for a new focus srceen. Thanks

The shutter should be a standard Compur and should be easy to service, once you remove the front panel. That requires you to remove the leather.

Not sure about the focusing screen. I don't know if one of the aftermarket screens will fit without modification. Someone else might be able to answer this question.

Dan I tried to get to your free manuals but I get the error message bad gateway. Am I doing something wrong?

The focusing screen on my Rolleicord III is thin ground glass (it is about the thickness of a microscope slide). I suspect yours broke, and that is why it is missing. There was an optional fresnel that fitted on top of the glass screen.

Ground glass for view cameras is easily available on e-bay and other internet sites. However, the thin glass required for the Rolleicord might be hard to find.
