I need to replace the escapement on my rolleicord V. I have noticed that other lenses using the synchro compur as well. Is it possible I can buy any lens with a synchro compur and remove the escapement and it'll fit in the cord? Does it have to be MX?
Either of them know these shutters very well, including the pitfalls of swapping parts from one block to another. And they might be able to sell you just what you need. I know of at least three different internal setups on #00 Synchro Compur shutter blocks.

Many special shutters are not included in the diagrams.
This manual ASSUMES you are a trained Compur repair person but if you are familiar with leaf shutter repair you can work through a shutter without much trouble.
If you are unfamiliar with camera/leaf shutter repair you will have better luck free climbing the face of Half Dome without training.
