This camera takes wonderful images with the 40mm Sonnar lens, but the image alignment in the finder is whacked. Havel Camera Repair in San Antonio realigned as best as possible, but the needed internal adjustment mechanism to fully correct the problem is not present in this scaled-down, plastic, Singapore version of a Rollei 35. This model is “auto” exposure only. The flash works, the zipper on the case does not.

This is a very underrated camera. The problem is probably the vertical alignment. Its quite easy to fix. Remove the top cover and look at the viewfinder window.
There is a spring which holds a piece of glass over it. The spring actually bends the glass on its mount, causing the vertical alignment to go askew over time. Gently bend the glass forward until the alignment is correct. Use a thin strip of scotch tape in the gap to keep the glass from bending back again.
Replace all and you are in business.
