Rollei Vintage Boxes

How do Rollei Vintage paper boxes open?
Are they like normal (Ilford or Kodak) two part boxes or do they open differently?

The ones I had delivered two or three years ago are made of thin, hard plastic and open like clamshell boxes. You open up along one long side and fold the lid to the side , take out the black plastic bag with paper in it , take the paper you need , put the plastic bag back in the box , fold the lid back and close the box. The box and the lid are both in one piece. It is advisable to seal the box with either a piece of tape or a rubber band as some boxes can have a tendency to open up a litle bit by themselves. Nothing complicated. Good luck !

This is not good news to me

I like the normal boxes and hate the envelopes. The boxes you describe seem to be worse than envelopes. I was hoping to get some Fomatone RC (repackaged as rollei) in nice boxes.
