I might be confused about this and thinking of some other dev time discrepancy but I think I recall the same question being asked before. It might be worth you doing a search on APUG.

It might sound odd, there is always a chance to test it to see which of or non of these are the timings that suits your need and palate.

Interestingly or not( depending on how you view the Massive Development Chart) it gives the Fotoimpex time of 12 mins. Given that the MDC is said to be based on what users have found to work and is backed by Fotoimpex the balance would seem to fall on the side of 12 mins.

You could try cutting the film into 3 parts and develop for 8, 10 and 12 mins respectively. You ruin 3 frames only as opposed to having all the frames possibly seriously under-developed at 8 mins or ( less likely IMO) over-developed at 12

Maybe we don't have enough users of this combo here on APUG but I'd expect those who have used the MDC and Fotoimpex time of 12 mins to register some kind of warning either now in this thread or in a previous thread that Fotoimpex and MDC have used a time that over develops by 50 % which is a lot

Double check all the references are using the same temperature and there are no differing agitation recommendations (constant on a Jobo vs. manual inversion for example).
