Has anyone tried retouching Rollei Retro 400S? I cut a short bulk roll just to test out a 'new to me' camera and of course the last shot of my daughter and dog turned out quite well aside from some scratches in the emulsion which print too dark I can't retouch the print because it's black, can I? I only have experience in retouching out lighter dust spots on the print so I'm thinking I need to darken the negative. Can I just try some spotting ink on the emulsion, will it work with the polyester base on this film? Anyone tried it?

Otherwise I'll have to resort to hybrid techniques but other than the darker areas I like how it prints in my enlarger. I suppose I could try the diffusing enlarger as well, perhaps it would not look as bad.

I got some other shots of them too which don't have scratches but of course this is my daughter's favorite shot... here it is printed on Ilford MGIV with Bromophen:
