Hey my Rollei friends out there. Have any of you noticed the huge amount of deadstock and repair parts for tlr rolleiflexes right now on ebay from 3+ different sellers in New Jersey??? Did I miss something? It seems everything came from one big estate sale/auction, and now the secondary sellers have it on ebay.

anybody know where all the stuff came from?

One hypothesis: these are the remains from the former Krimar Photo Shop in Elmwood Park, formerly run by Mr. Krikor Maralian. He died in 2017 or 2018. We had some discussion in the past about his services, which slipped badly during the later years that his shop was in operation. It is a pity that these parts are being spread all over via ePrey. I wish they could go in one unit to a repair person who could use them, such as Mr. Hama or Mr. Fleenor.

At those prices, only a wealthy dentist will be able to buy.

The prices were much more reasonable a couple weeks ago....it seems all the sellers caught on, and instead of listing say, a new back for a 2.8f for $45, they’re running them as auctions and getting $100-150.

If so, then RIP Mr. Maralian. He was a nice felow and when his shop was still open he had a lovely display of fine Rolleiflexes to chat next to.
