Harry Fleenor has repaired some of my Rollie's but I am wondering if anyone knows of a good Rollei repair place a little closer to me here in the Southeast US. Thanks for your thoughts
As for Krimar Camera Shop in Jew Jersey (Mr Krikor Maralian) I recommend NO, absolutely NO. Sorry, maybe Mt. Krikor was the best in his field decades ago, but something has gone wrong...
+1 he butchered a lens of mine about three years ago.
Harry is local to me, so I was lucky enough to drive to his shop drop off gear. And to meet him - he is a very nice gentleman. I also got to see all the official Rollei branded repair and testing machinery that he uses in his work. That makes you feel good about the process too. Unless you have someone local, to me shipping a camera is shipping a camera. The effort for me to go to FedEx is the same whether it goes to the next town or another country. The destination does not matter, the quality of work does. Which is why I ship my Nikon F2 cameras from Los Angeles to Sover Wong's shop in England, because it is the quality of work that matters.Harry Fleenor has repaired some of my Rollie's but I am wondering if anyone knows of a good Rollei repair place a little closer to me here in the Southeast US.
