I need to ask for some help here. A while back I was given the contents of a shutting down camera repair shop. Boxes and boxes of old cameras, parts, screws, junk and trash. I pretty much just emptied the shop. I've been going through it all as time permits and today have a few parts that I'd like to identify. Problem is, I'm not much of a Rollei guy in that I just don't know much about them. I do however have a Rolleiflex I really like...

So anyhow, I have some pictures here, if anyone can tell me what camera these would be for I'd appreciate it. The box these came out of was marked "Rollei shutters, hoods, and backs".

To keep it simpler I'll split this into separate posts.

Thanks in advance for your time and help!

OK, first up. I have two sets like this. Lens and shutters and what looks like a matching viewing lens. Tessar, Zeiss-Opton, 75mm f3.5. these are very clean, I'd say unused and all speeds seem to work.

And these hoods too. Couple of these, looking like new. These have a side lever to flip up the internal mirror for eye level viewing. No logos but made in Germny. Are these Rollei parts?

"No logos but "Germany". Are these Rollei parts?"

This viewing hood seems to have the same stamp print as your back.

Replacement hoods for the K4 Automats. K4B, K4B2, or K4/50

Again, K4B, K4B2, or K4/50. I'm not sure if the Opton lenses were on any of the MX or MX-EVS cameras

These are Rolleicord backs from the early I series.

Really? I'll have to admit that I haven't looked at mine for a while now but just pulled it out of its case to look. Yep, seems the same. I have a 1b/3. I really didn't remember that my camera had the exposure guide on the back, but its pretty much always in its leather case. Thanks, I guess I now have a spare back!

Possibly 3.5E or Rolleicord V. Possibly Rollei Magic.
They're not for the Rolleicord V. None of the Rolleicords had a rear focus eyepiece, only a sports finder, and the side plates were rigid not hinged. Looks more like a finder for a later Flex, maybe E, F or T perhaps?

It may be interchangeable between the flex and the cord as in the Youtube video 0.29sec to 1.29 in.

You are right about the rear focus, but the removable viewfinder on the V does have hinged side plates. But yes, most likely for a type 2 or 3 E, or for an F or T.

I seem to remember that the stock Rolleiflex T did not have the focusing mirror and eyepiece for sports focusing. One of the many ways it was a lesser model.

It should fit and work well, but it's actually for the Rolleicord II since the exposure table goes from 3,5. The first series had 4,5 or 3,8 lenses. But all the Rolleicord I, Ia and II models need the red window on the bottom. Not sure what you mean by 1b/3? Maybe a collectors book used names like that to differentiate between the models.

The first viewing hood fits all the pre-war Rolleiflex Automats, and the second one fits the 3,5 and 2,8 F, E2, E3 and T, plus the Rolleicord Vb. (I don't like to use the internal factory names like "K4" or whatever, since it's confusing).

Typo on my part too. I looked again and according to the Rolleiclub.com site, its a Ia Model 3, or a K3. Like this, (but this one isn't mine)

Ah, I have that one too. Nice sharp Triotar. I also have the special ordered version for the german police, but it's in bad shape.

No, it may not. The Rolleicord in the video is a Vb. In order to remove the finder from a V it is necessary to extract four small screws from around the perimeter of the finder base. It's not made to accept a pentaprism, optionally. Unlike the Vb.

The viewfinder of the V definitely does not have hinged side plates. The only one that does is the Vb.

Here are two current ebay listings for Rolleicord V types chosen at random.
One;
Two.

Please note the viewfinder construction. Both these examples wear the correct finder for the Rolleicord V model. No hinged sides.
