Wasn't it Henning Serger , backed by Film-Niko and others who said that Rollei Retro films at all claimed speeds and Rollei IR were all the same Gevaert film, namely Aviphot 200? Henning did tests on which he based his findings so why isn't there a common time for all Rollei IR and Retro S films that are alleged to be the same?
Rollei APX and several other films "made" by Maco and Rollei are according to Film-Niko in fact Kentmere films
So to summarise what I think was being said was that: Rollei Retro 80S and 400S and Rollei IR are all Aviphot 200.
Rollei APX 100 and 400 are Kentmere 100 and 400
Not directly related to this thread but worth stating for clarity in this murky world of who makes what films , then logically there should be a commonality of developing times with the same developer for all Rollei IR and Retro films( Aviphot 200) and a same developing time for Kentmere, Rollei APX, Fotoimpex CHM 100 and 400 and Agfaphoto 100 and 400( all Kentmere 100 or 400)?
Have I got this right? If the consensus is that I have got it right then each time any questions arises on these films someone should quote my summary.
For the sake of all questioners such as John Galt, seeking help, we have to be the disseminators of wisdom and truth, don't we?
