The standard lens on my Rollei 6006 has a very stiff aperture control ring. (i.e. by pressing in the red-button, and turning the serrated ring.)
Is this normal? or does it free up if I could power the lens by mounting it on the 6006 body - with a working power supply.? The focus on the lens works smoothly, and as the lens' coatings are unmarked it would be a pity to junk it. Alternatively, are there any recommended Rollei lens repairers in the UK?

Many thanks
