Hi all, looking for a Rollei bayonet 111 lens hood, for the 2.8F, think that's correct. So if someone has an extra one that would be great. Oh, I'm in Australia BTW.

Original are crazy expensive but there are some Chinese knockoffs from sellers on ebay in HK and mainland that work just as well.

yeah, the chinese knockoffs are about half what a real one costs which, in exc- condition, is about $135 US.

i actually lost one and finally had to give up searching and buy a new one. that hurt.

I have both the soft rubber and the stiff metal hoods. Personally I prefer the stiff hood. Seems like it will last longer and give more protection.

The knock offs aren't too bad. Well built and will do the job for which they are intended. Yes, I prefer the OEM hoods have have them for all of my 35mm lenses, however if I can save 50-60% or more on an expensive lens hood, I'll do it.
