Hello friends,

according to rolleiflex600.eu, for the Apo-Symmar macro 150mm, "Macro lens with apochromatic correction. Needs extension of 67 mm for focusing.Use bellows or Vario-Extension tube."
Since I don't want to do any macro photography at all, do I need those things? If I just stick the lens on my camera, without those tubes, it will work as a regular 150mm right?

Thanks!

Personally I’d look for the rare extension tube first (assuming the lens you want to buy does not have it).
Otherwise you’ll have a $2000-3000 paperweight.

Its not too hard to find the bellows for this... which works fine.
BTW - the lens is stellar. Has a particular signature which is both super sharp but also somehow makes everything look better. A favorite.

I totally believe you, but the idea is to use it handheld, I think the bellows have a rail, it looks really too big to hold it.
