I have a Rollei 6001, just built out of parts & pieces from KEH that works fine. Also I have a Canon 440 EX flash unit that is used on my Canon A2. the flash shoe on the Rollei looks like the the flash connector on the bottom of the 440. My question is, is TTL flash connector and function a standard or does each mfg fix it up to suit thier own whims? and, I guess, will it likely work and not harm either unit? appreciate any feedback...

Thanks

There's no standard TTL unfortunately. They all march to beat of their own drummer.
