I got a Rollei 35T as a trade.
Everything seems to be working (metering unknown, for lack of battery), except that slow speeds behave like B mode.
Keeping the shutter button down holds shutter open, until I let go.

There is a well-made YT video showing how to remove the camera top, and lightly clean and very lightly lubricate the part of the movement between the shutter button to the general area of the shutter set wheel.

Anybody having done that, with success?
From the video (šŸ˜†) it does not seem that hard, in a way, except for the release lock lever shaft reinsertion.

Hmm, my readings seem to say that condition is not uncommon, I was hoping a Rollei fan would know how to cope with it.
Maybe I posted in the wrong sub-forum?

Test roll coming up soon, anyway.

This is a very common problem with shutters as they age. It just needs to be lubricated. This is easy on some cameras -- very difficult on others. If you are familiar with opening up cameras, try the video you suggested. Check out this page first. I think one of the repair manuals listed covers the Rollei 35.

...to cross-pollinate from the thread about the cost of films. With the cost of film & enlarging paper ....a CLA on an old camera is a wise economical move.....
