Hi all!

I'm running into an issue with my Rollei 35s that I recently purchased. It is in great condition, and shot its first roll of film without issues. However, something has gone wrong, and the shutter release will no longer engage the shutter - I can press the shutter down fine, but doing so doesn't actually do anything. Upon inspecting the inside of the camera, I can see a little lever to the left of the lens, that when moved, opens the shutter, so I can only assume that there is another lever inside the camera that isn't moving this lever when the shutter release is pressed. On the right side of the camera underneath the shutter release, I can see that lever and the components under it move perfectly fine, which leads me to believe something on the left side of the camera is awry.

Does anyone have any experience with fixing these cameras / are there any pictures of the inside of the camera that show what it's supposed to look like? I don't want to have to spend loads of cash and wait months to have this fixed if it's something as simple as repositioning a lever inside the camera itself, but I don't want to take it apart without some guidance as it's otherwise in perfect condition.

Any help on this would be extremely appreciated!!

Download https://learncamerarepair.com/product.php?product=83&category=2&secondary=15 and familiarize yourself with that site.
The shutter is a Synchro Compur modified/special made for Rollei and is not listed in the Compur Repair Manual also available at Learn Camera Repair site. The CN-1110-000 is a workhorse shutter that many shutters are based on and is referred to for internal working.
Your camera likely has a size 000 shutter.

I think any competent repair shop should be able to fix it. Cost would probably be around $100 but that would entail a complete fix and CLA.
