I have a Rollei 35 equipped with a 40/3.5 Tessar.
I also have a Contax T equipped with a 38/2.8 Sonnar.

Both cameras are great, but I prefer the Rollei 35.

However, I do enjoy the Contax's flare resistance and high contrast (for color). This is no surprise considering that the Tessar is single-coated and that Contax/Zeiss lenses are known for being flare-resistant.

Anyways, I was thinking of getting a Rollei 35 Sonnar for color and reserving my Rollei 35 Tessar for B&W. Rollei 35's are staple .

How does the Rollei 35 Sonnar compare with the Contax T Sonnar? My main concern is flare-resistance; I'd think that sharpness isn't a big deal and neither is contrast. My Tessar is sharp enough and the contrast is good-enough for color. If the Contax T is much more flare resistant than the Rollei 35 Sonnar, then there is no point in me getting the Rollei 35 Sonnar.
